How to create a UPI payment QR code

Prepare the recipient details

Copy your UPI ID from your banking or UPI app. Avoid copying a phone number unless it is part of the actual address shown there. Paste the full identifier including the handle after @.

The name field is a label supplied by you. It is not a bank-verified account name. QR Bench checks only the general address structure; it cannot tell whether an address exists.

Generate the amount you intend

1. Open the QR generator.
2. Enter the UPI ID and payee name.
3. Enter the full amount in rupees, using no more than two decimal places.
4. Add a short note if it helps identify the purpose.
5. Choose single payment, equal split or custom split.
6. Select Generate QR codes.

The summary shows exactly which details are encoded. Editing the form clears previously generated codes so an old amount cannot remain presented as the current result.

Check before sharing

Scan one generated code and review the recipient and amount in the payment app. You do not need to authorize a transfer to inspect the payment screen. If the recipient is unexpected, stop and correct the UPI ID.

For a multi-payment set, check the first and last amounts against your intended schedule. Equal splits distribute leftover paise without changing the total.

Download or print

Download PNG saves the QR image to your device. Print all creates a sheet with the payee, amount and payment number. Generated files contain payment details; share them only where you intend those details to be visible.

Refreshing the page resets the form. The website has no saved collection history and cannot recover a closed session.
